This is my daughter, Kelia.(Oh, Tony's daughter too!) Everyone calls her "Sis"....she is EVERYONE's sister! Sis learned to surf in Waikiki as a young child along with my 4 sons. We'd go there to play and work! Waikiki offers the BEST wave for ANYONE to learn on. It is a long gentle wave and it is my FAVORITE! Well, this summer, my girl won the Giget Pro! It was her first WIN in a pro event so she was just thrilled. in the past 2 years, she got 2nd at this same event, so she went out this time to win! I know she is my daughter, and all us crazy parents can go on and on about our children and their accomplishments....well, hey, call me crazy! ;) hee. Watching her longboard is like watching a ballarina on water....with a little sassy attitude. She is one of a kind. The beuatiful thing about her is that she isn't only amazing in the water, she is an amazing person on land. That makes me most proud! Love you girl! Great job! When I grow up, I want to surf just like YOU!!!!! xoxo
By the way, in this picture, this is what we call, "HANG TEN". This is a true TEN! ALL 10 toes off the nose! I did this ONCE in my life!!!! UGH!
