Sister and I are in Biaritz, France for the Roxy Jam Longboard Championships! I just love this place! Roxy puts on a great competition for the girls and also there is a Junior Pro event for the shortboard girls. This event is amazing. So many different media people are here from all over the world. They have a private section for the media and competitors. They feed them and have smoothies and drinks all day. They also create this beautiful place and atmosphere for our enjoyment.
Great job Roxy! I'll post more photos of the site when I get back there for the finals. Sister lost in the 3rd round, but there is also an expression session tonight! That is my favorite part because all the girls surf together and they judge the best manuevers. There is also a fireworks display at the end! It is like their 4th of July.
