This past weekend was the Local Motion Surf into Summer. This contest is one of Hawaii's most prestigious events and it has been running for the last 20 years. We spent the whole Memorial Day weekend there and surfing Kewalos. Tony has been coaching a 10 year old boy from the Big Island named Fisher. He is such a nice boy and his surfing has been improving every day! It is so awesome to watch the groms grow in their surfing abilities. Within one year, a kid can start off going straight, and if he/she has the passion and desire and love for surfing, he/she can be competing with Hawaii's best! It is truely amazing to watch. I think it is one of my favorite things to see! So if you are a youngin', GO FOR IT!!!!
