Just found this shot of my brother, Kirby. It was posted in our local Surf Forecast website! He started his surfing career a little late, but with the encouragement and push from my husband, Tony, he slung shot out of the gates! Tony would take him out to Pipe, Waimea, Sunset and Makaha... big waves... and say, "GO!".... Kirby would go! or he'd have to look at the disappointment on Tony's face because it was usually his wave that he gave to Kirb. ha! Check out Kirby's Surf Blog Network!
