Volcom puts on one of my kids favorite contests. Volcom sets out every year all over our nation (3 contests in the islands) to find the hottest surfers. They come for one day, set up, and it is first come first in....for free. So all the kids in Hawaii, make their attempt to win. THe top 4 of each division qualifies to the National COntest in California where the winners win $3000-$10,000!! I would say the biggest prize money for ametuers. So it is a very coveted event.
Our son, Isaiah 16 years old, won his Junior Division AND won $200 cash for the best maneuver of the whole event, including the pro division! ;) Also, our son, Seth 13 won the boys division, and our son Josh 14 got 4th!!! So our 3 boys all qualified for the National Event!! whoo hoo! ;) California here we come!!!!
