"THE MOMENT"
I sat at on the beach today in California shooting Sis on a perfect, sunny day. I'm not sure if I am going through another phase in life or super emotional, but I caught 4 parents enjoying their little ones. As I took shots of each of these, enjoying the NOW with their treasures, it was only natural for me to reflect back to those precious times when my children were these ages.
I got about 10 shots of this beautiful mommy embracing her baby, and taking in every golden part of this day. When I looked at her face, it expressed the feeling we have as parents. Maybe it may be mixed with those crazy days of tantrums, sleepless nights, diapers, bottles, laundry, and exhaustion, but I believe this face expresses the beauty of being a parent. Mother or father. This is the moment.

I've been enjoying reading your blog and Kirby's for couple of years. I'm still single and I dream to have a family like yours one day (hopefully not so far in the future!).
Your "The Moment" photos and story really touched my heart. Thank you for letting me know how precious it is before I have my own baby. Your stories about how you love your kids and enjoy raising them keeps making me look forward to enjoying raising my own when I have one (hopefully, many ones!) in the future.
